International University Fest-2019

After the booming success of the first ever University Fest-2018, Shri Ram Ashram Public School once again brought two days International University Fest -2019  on 14th &15th Sept on its campus to help the students select their respective careers and to enlighten the parents about the variegated career options available for their children.

On 14th September, Sh Sartaj Singh Chahal, Asst. Commission of Police, formally inaugurated the fest. . Delegates representing the various universities were given a floral welcome and honoured with a memento. The principal informed that last year renowned Foreign Universities of Canada and USA were invited and this year Australian and European Universities have been called upon.

 Following elite Universities gave their presence and shared their knowledge and institution with the parents and students.

Closing Of CBSE Rope Skipping Competition-2019

The closing of CBSE National Rope Skipping Competition took place on 10th November, 2019 at Shri Ram Ashram Public School, The Mall, Amritsar amidst great zeal and fervour. The honourable President of the host school, Sh. Balbir Bajaj ji graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was presented a posy of flowers by the distinguished Educational Advisor, Sh. S. N.Joshi ji and the most revered Principal, Ms Vinodita Sankhyan followed by an official welcome by the Principal.

The esteemed  Technical Delegate for CBSE, Ms Rachna Sharma; Chief Judge, Mr. Vivek Soni, Head Judge, Mr.Rahul Pratap and other illustrious  officials were honoured with the Certificates of Appreciation and mementos by the chief guest for their relentless services to make this event a grand success.

The students of the host school displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant programmes. The audience was mesmerised and spellbound with the energetic and synchronized ghumar bhanrgra   dandia dance and breath taking rope skipping  performances. Whereas the participants enthusiastically took part and displayed their talents through extremely entertaining activities during their leisure time in the evening organised exclusively for them.

Then came the most anticipated moment - the announcement of winners of this event. Out of 355 medals 58 Gold, 58 Silver and 58 Bronze Medals were won by the girls under both 14 &19 age groups in various events while 58 Gold, 58 Silver and 65 Bronze Medals were bagged by the boys under the same categories. In under-19 category (Girls and Boys) Over- all Trophy was captured by  Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka, Delhi  while in Under-14 category(Girls and Boys) the Over- all Trophy was secured by Bal Bharti Public School, G.R.H. Marg, New Delhi .  The proud winner of the  most prestigious Championship Trophy was Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka, Delhi. Under each category the schools were given Trophies for I,II and III position. The host school clinched  4 gold, 5 silver and  7 Bronze medals in both the categories and got over-all third position in Under 19 Category.

The chief guest in his address, congratulated the winners of this gala event and appreciated the participating teams and their coaches for their vehement participation. The Principal moved a vote of thanks to one and all who contributed their services either directly or indirectly for the smooth and flawless presentation and grand success of the mega event. She also extended special thanks to   officials, judges and coaches for putting their earnest efforts for its successful conduction. She further advised the team players to be regular with their physical training and to adopt a strategy to manage time to increase efficiency and productivity.

The chief guest declared the Meet closed. The CBSE  Flag was handed over to the Principal after a slow March by the NCC Cadets. The three-day long power-packed CBSE Rope Skipping Competition  ended with the National Anthem.

CBSE Rope Skipping Competition, 2019

The Grand Opening of CBSE National Rope Skipping Competition, 2019 was organised amidst great mirth and vivacity at Shri Ram Ashram Public School, The Mall, Amritsar. The three day long competition for under U-14 and U-19 age groups of boys and girls commenced today with the aim to encourage maximum participation of students and to promote healthy and power packed competition .   

S. Salvinder Singh Samra D.E.O ( Sr.Sec.Edu. Amritsar) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Nirdesh Sharma, CBSE Observer; Ms Rachna Sharrma, Technical Delegate for CBSE ; Mr. Vivek Soni, Chief Judge ; Mr Rahul  Pratap, Head Judge; 14 celebrated offficials (Mr. Suraj Pratap Singh, Ms. Ankita Sharma, Mr. Tushar Sharma, Mr. Harish Kumar Saini, Ms. Falak Naaz, Mr. Mohit Thakur, Ms. Neha Mehar, Ms. Taruna Arya, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar; Ms. Akanksha Saini, Mr. Deepak, Mr. Ram Kumar, Ms. Ravi Shankar enhanced the glory of the occasion with their presence. The distinguished members of the School Management were also present there.

The ceremony kicked off with the hoisting of CBSE flag by the esteemed Chief Guest. The NCC Cadets of the school paid the salute to the flag with the beating of a well synchronised and impressive March Past coupled with loud uproar  of the Police Band. Approximately 750 enthusiastic participants along with their coaches from around 85 schools from all over India took part in this mega march. The formal inaugural ceremony began by lighting the pious lamp by the chief guest followed by the floral welcome by the school President , Sh. Balbir Bajaj ji, the Educational Advisor, Sh. S.N. Joshi ji and the Principal, Ms. Vinodita Sankhyan.

Before the commencement of the cultural programme ,the Principal gave an official welcome to the chief guest and the galaxy of luminaries present for the event. The most intriguing and fascinating aspect impelling the event was the cultural programme in which national players of the organising school showcased their talent in yoga, gymnastics, hula hoop while the symphonic orchestra rendered the spectators speechless with its  spellbinding magic.

The chief guest expressed his pleasure through his speech by witnessing the enthusiasm and zeal of the participant teams and endeavours put up by the host school to give its best to the variegated schools from different states. He appreciated the vigour and passion of the participants and wished them all success. Thereafter, the participants entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the Oath being administrated by the Chief Guest as he declared the Meet Open.
