Title: SRA Clinges FAP State Award
News:
Shri Ram Ashram Public School, Amritsar became the only school to get two awards in different categories in FAP State Award ‘Best Budget Friendly School with Maximum Facilities' & 'Dynamic Principal Award 2021' . SRA, Amritsar was conferred with the prestigious Best School State Award under the category (Urban)- 'Best Budget Friendly School with Maximum Facilities' with Rating- 'A' by FAP (the Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab, Regd.) at Chandigarh University on Sept.11, 2021. On the same day Principal, Ms. Vinodita Sankhyan was honoured with FAP State Award under the category 'Dynamic Principal Award 2021' for the eminence and effectiveness of her teaching, specialized leadership and engagement with the community. The awards were presented by Justice Sh. Naresh Grover -Punjab & Haryana High Court.
Nominations were sent by Shri Ram Ashram Public School, Amritsar as well. Videos of infrastructure of the school, pdf of facilities like sports, morning activities, competitions, annual functions, academic records, educational visits & excursions, ISRO trips, fee structure etc. were provided. In addition to this, written documents were sent along with the facilities provided to the students by the school. The district coordinators along with FAP members visited the school for on campus assessment. It was only after the interview of the Principal by the jury, the school & the Principal were finally selected for the FAP State Award.
The President of the school, Sh. Balbir Bajaj congratulated team Ashram as the school won the most distinguished award and extended his special congratulations to the Principal for her excellent achievement. 
Highly elated Principal felt honoured as the school got the award and expressed her heartfelt gratitude for being selected for the award. The overjoyed staff tingled with the double achievement congratulated her for unparalleled success.

The school organized a vaccination camp on 17th June, 2021 in the school premises (second time) to get its staff & their family members vaccinated to help protect them from the Corona virus. 
This camp was held under the vigilant supervision of Mr. Vikas Sarpal along with his team Ms. Bhavna, Mr. Danish, Ms. Asha Rani, Dr. Puneet, Ms. Amarjeet Kaur, Mr. Ashu Soni, Ms. Paramjeet Kaur, Ms. Charanjeet Kaur and R.J. Rahul.
 
 Principal, Ms. Vinodita Sankhyan and Sh. Sanjay Mahajan, CAO (Chief Administrative Officer) of the school welcomed the team. 
 
Near about 350 people of 18+ and 45+ age group took advantage of first and second dose as per their requirement in the camp. They were informed about the precautions to be taken after the vaccination.
 
School President, Sh. Balbir Bajaj and Principal, Ms. Vinodita Sankhyan shared that the school fully supports this life saving vaccination.

Closing Of CBSE Rope Skipping Competition-2019

The closing of CBSE National Rope Skipping Competition took place on 10th November, 2019 at Shri Ram Ashram Public School, The Mall, Amritsar amidst great zeal and fervour. The honourable President of the host school, Sh. Balbir Bajaj ji graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was presented a posy of flowers by the distinguished Educational Advisor, Sh. S. N.Joshi ji and the most revered Principal, Ms Vinodita Sankhyan followed by an official welcome by the Principal.

The esteemed  Technical Delegate for CBSE, Ms Rachna Sharma; Chief Judge, Mr. Vivek Soni, Head Judge, Mr.Rahul Pratap and other illustrious  officials were honoured with the Certificates of Appreciation and mementos by the chief guest for their relentless services to make this event a grand success.

The students of the host school displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant programmes. The audience was mesmerised and spellbound with the energetic and synchronized ghumar bhanrgra   dandia dance and breath taking rope skipping  performances. Whereas the participants enthusiastically took part and displayed their talents through extremely entertaining activities during their leisure time in the evening organised exclusively for them.

Then came the most anticipated moment - the announcement of winners of this event. Out of 355 medals 58 Gold, 58 Silver and 58 Bronze Medals were won by the girls under both 14 &19 age groups in various events while 58 Gold, 58 Silver and 65 Bronze Medals were bagged by the boys under the same categories. In under-19 category (Girls and Boys) Over- all Trophy was captured by  Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka, Delhi  while in Under-14 category(Girls and Boys) the Over- all Trophy was secured by Bal Bharti Public School, G.R.H. Marg, New Delhi .  The proud winner of the  most prestigious Championship Trophy was Bal Bharti Public School, Dwarka, Delhi. Under each category the schools were given Trophies for I,II and III position. The host school clinched  4 gold, 5 silver and  7 Bronze medals in both the categories and got over-all third position in Under 19 Category.

The chief guest in his address, congratulated the winners of this gala event and appreciated the participating teams and their coaches for their vehement participation. The Principal moved a vote of thanks to one and all who contributed their services either directly or indirectly for the smooth and flawless presentation and grand success of the mega event. She also extended special thanks to   officials, judges and coaches for putting their earnest efforts for its successful conduction. She further advised the team players to be regular with their physical training and to adopt a strategy to manage time to increase efficiency and productivity.

The chief guest declared the Meet closed. The CBSE  Flag was handed over to the Principal after a slow March by the NCC Cadets. The three-day long power-packed CBSE Rope Skipping Competition  ended with the National Anthem.
